SOLD OUT: TAMMY AND THE T-REX (1994) – 20th June, Bristol Improv Theatre

With the June release of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, it only seemed right we screen a dinosaur movie… and there is no stranger, or crazier dinosaur film than Tammy and the T-Rex. Maybe Anonymous Rex…


One wonders why Paul Walker (The Fast and the Furious) and Denise Richards (The World Is Not Enough, Starship Troopers) ever agreed to sign up to this film.

Sure, when you’re young and just starting out, you’ll take any job… but this one is just weird.

Of course, it’s a story as old as time. Boy (Michael played by Paul Walker) meets girl (Tammy played by Denise Richards). Girl’s jealous ex killed Boy by getting him mauled by lions and then Boy’s brain is transplanted into a robotic T-Rex.

We couldn’t have made this up if we’d been drinking gin for 24 hours whilst taking magic mushrooms.

To quote Drafthouse Films, “TAMMY AND THE T-REX is easily the most inexplicable movie in the history of forever. It’s equal parts BEVERLY HILLS 90210, JURASSIC PARK, and crack-cocaine.

An evil scientist implants the brain of Michael, a murdered high school student, into an Tyrannosaurus. He escapes, wreaks vengeance on his high school tormentors and is reunited with his sweetheart Tammy.
