Enemy reinforcements have arrived!
After surviving the nefarious schemes of his interviewees in Born To Be Bad: Talking to the greatest villains in action cinema, cinephile Timon Singh returns to track down and interview more actors behind the best part of any action movie: The Bad Guy.
From stars who have been in the biggest movies of all time to stuntmen who have faced off against the world’s biggest action stars, Born To Be Bad Part 2 offers fascinating insight and hilarious anecdotes into what it’s like to be cast as a villain in a Hollywood action film.
Whether the actors started off as martial arts champions, graduates of prestigious acting schools or professional body builders, everyone has a different story about how they came to be killed on-screen by some of the most famous names in show business.
Featuring interviews with the likes of Robert Patrick (Terminator 2: Judgement Day), Tony Todd (Candyman), Stephen Lang (Avatar), Scott Adkins (Ip Man 4), Mohammed Qissi (Kickboxer), Tzi Ma (Rapid Fire) and many others, this is an essential read for all fans of action movies!
Introduction by Graham Yost, the screenwriter behind action classics Speed, Broken Arrow and Hard Rain.

COVID-19 UPDATE
Oh, how we chortled at the coincidence of programming Birdemic: Shock and Terror, just as a global pandemic was about to sweep the globe! Well, now things have got a bit more serious…
In light of the government’s announcement yesterday, we have decided to postpone March and April’s Bristol Bad Film Club screenings (Birdemic: Shock and Terror, No. 1 of the Secret Secret and Ryan’s Babe.
This decision was made with our partners at The Bristol Improv Theatre as, despite the shows selling out, we didn’t feel that cramming 110 people into the theatre was the smartest thing we could do at this point.
So… what does this mean for you lovely people that bought tickets?
Well, you have a couple of options:
1. REFUND
You can have a full refund. Simply email The Bristol Improv Theatre (hello@improvtheatre.co.uk) and they’ll issue a full refund.
If they don’t hear from you, they will hold your ticket until such time as the show can be rescheduled.
2. DONATE
Alternatively, you could donate your ticket cost to the Improv Theatre.
As you may have seen, the Prime Minister’s announcement told people to stay away from cinemas, theatres and restaurants, but he didn’t make their closure mandatory.
As such, venue owners cannot fall back on financial protections, such as insurance, to receive compensation so they will need all the help they can during this time.
If you are able, we would ask that you consider donating your ticket money to the Improv Theatre. It may be just £5 to you, but for them it’s potentially hundreds fo pounds at a time when they have no idea when they will be able to reopen their doors.
If you are able, please donate to help us keep this organisation running. They will use every penny you give us to pay their staff and to keep supporting artists.
As for us? The Bristol Bad Film Club will return. Don’t worry, there’s no way we aren’t showing Birdemic: Shock and Terror at some point this year. And if you’re stuck in your house for a bit, why not buy our book to keep you occupied?
