We’ve screened Masters of the Universe . In May, we’ll be screening Lifeforce – but we still can’t get enough of Cannon Films…
This summer, we’ll be doing everything we can to screen the hit documentary Electric Boogaloo: The Wild, Untold Story of Cannon Films (2014) , which looks at how Israeli cousins Menahem Golan and Yoram Globus built their studio of shlock.

Naturally, we want to double bill it with one of their more infamous films. However we thought we’d leave that decision to you.
We’ve listed EIGHT of their most infamous classics (not including Masters of the Universe and Lifeforce ) and have decided that whatever the people of Bristol vote for, that is what we’ll show.
God help us all.
UPDATE: THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN – WE’LL BE SCREENING NINJA III: THE DOMINATION
The Apple (1980): Musical set in the ‘future’, e.g. 1994. A young couple enters the world of the music industry, but also the world of drugs.
Breakin’ 2 – Electric Boogaloo (1984): A developer tries to bulldoze a community recreation center. The local breakdancers try to stop it.
Ninja III – The Domination (1984): An evil ninja attempts to avenge his death from beyond the grave, by possessing an innocent woman’s body.
American Ninja (1985): American soldier, obviously very skilled in martial arts, single-handedly takes on mercenaries in the Philippines.
Invasion U.S.A. (1985): A one-man army comes to the rescue of the United States when a spy attempts an invasion.
The Delta Force (1986): An elite team of commandoes try to free airline passengers seized by terrorists.
Over The Top (1987): Lincoln Hawk (Stallone) is a struggling trucker who arm wrestles on the side to make extra cash while trying to bond with his estranged son.
Bloodsport (1988): Jean-Claude Van Damme Frank Dux enters an illegal underground martial-arts competition where serious injury and even death are not unknown.
