As it’s close to Halloween, we get into the horror spirit the only way we can… with a film about a killer mutated cat! Plus, we’re at Bristol Con!
Everyone knows cats have nine lives… unfortunately, you only have one!
That is the tagline to this cult classic which has one of the best premises ever: a mutated killer cat finds its way on-board a yacht full of criminal businessmen and spring breakers who are just asking for gruesome deaths.
It has everything you want from an 80s horror film – beautiful women, big hair, a villain with an evil moustache and a killer cat with no mercy!
Need to know more? It also stars George Kennedy (Cool Hand Luke, The Naked Gun) who was clearly aching for a pay check.
When: 8.00pm, Saturday 25th October, 2014
Location: Bristol Con, Doubletree Hotel, Redcliffe Way Bristol BS1 6NJ
SOLD OUT
When a shady businessman attempts to dodge the law by sailing off to a remote island paradise, he brings along a bunch of young spring break revelers. However, when a cat escapes from a dangerous scientific experiment and makes its way on to the boat, the passengers soon discover that it is harboring a deadly secret.
“A hairball of a horror movie.” StaciWilson.com
“I respect effort about as much as I respect talent and while Greydon Clark might lack talent as a writer or director, at least he tried and had some creative ideas. That doesn’t stop “Uninvited” from being bad, but it’s enjoyably bad.” BitFister.com
“The price is right on this one and it’s way more entertaining than it should be. If you like fun crap that doesn’t take itself seriously, give this a shot.” Cinema Head Cheese
